(MINEOLA, N.Y.) – U.S. Rep. George Santos inexplicably compared himself to Rosa Parks in a recent podcast interview. Following this broadcast, Nassau County Legislator Arnold W. Drucker (D – Plainview) issued the following statement:
“I have admired and adulated Rosa Parks throughout my life. She is a civil rights pioneer and American hero whose moral courage and quiet resolve bent the arc of justice in our nation toward equality,” Nassau County Legislator Arnold W. Drucker (D – Plainview) said. “George Santos is no Rosa Parks. He is a national laughingstock who brings shame upon Long Island, and he is a credibly accused felon who continues to defraud my constituents with a daily deluge of lies. Comparing himself to Rosa Parks may be the sickest and most brazen of them all.”
“The level of delusion that would allow this comparison to cross his mind in the first place is downright frightening,” Legislator Drucker added. “Unfortunately, it’s just the latest example of why George Santos is the worst, most dysfunctional Congressman that my constituents and I have ever been represented by, and yet another reason why it’s long past time for him to resign.”
