(PLAINVIEW, N.Y.) - Nassau County Legislator Arnold W. Drucker (D - Plainview) rang in the New Year by celebrating the birthdays of two Plainview centenarians. On Saturday, Jan. 2, Legislator Drucker joined the family of Mimi Cooper to celebrate her 100th birthday with assistance from the Plainview Volunteer Fire Department and Atria Plainview. And on Thursday, Dec. 31, 2020, Legislator Drucker commemorated Olga Marcin’s 101st birthday after her family, friends and neighbors marked the occasion with a car parade.
“As we recognized the end of one year and heralded the arrival of 2021, it was truly a privilege to join the Plainview community in recognizing two remarkable residents,” Legislator Drucker said. “I’m grateful to Olga Marcin, Mimi Cooper, and their families for inviting me to start the New Year at these joyous and uplifting celebrations.”
