(PLAINVIEW, N.Y.) - To help residents safely dispose of unused and expired medications, Nassau County Legislator Arnold W. Drucker (D – Plainview) partnered with the Plainview Water District to sponsor a “Pharmaceutical Take Back Day” on Saturday, Oct. 24.
“By providing our residents with a safe and convenient way to discard unwanted medication, we are taking an important step toward protecting the environment and preventing these powerful, addictive pharmaceuticals from falling into the wrong hands,” Legislator Drucker said. “I applaud the Plainview Water District for their partnership in hosting this life-saving initiative.”
