The grand opening of Go Health Urgent Care of North Shore/LIJ has arrived in Plainview, neighboring the Plainview Shopping Centre on the corner of South Oyster Bay Road and Woodbury Road. The opening was held on Thursday, January 29, 2015. The facility is a new kind of urgent care acting as a first stop for everyday healthcare needs. According to experts, most insurance is accepted and the facility will have a seamless partnership with North Shore/LIJ.
Nassau County Legislator Judy Jacobs (D-Woodbury), who is also the Director of Community Relations for the North Shore/LIJ System, was present to welcome all to the event. In addition, attendees from the community included Town Councilwoman Rebecca Alesia and Town Receive of Taxes Jim Stefanich, as well as members of the Plainview/Old Bethpage Chamber of Commerce.
