(JERICHO, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislature Deputy Minority Leader Arnold W. Drucker (D – Plainview) celebrated the start of the Year of the Dragon at the Chinese Association of Jericho’s annual Lunar New Year celebration on Saturday, Feb. 10.
“Each year, Jericho’s vibrant and growing Chinese American community hosts one of the most elaborate and beautiful celebrations in our region. I have had the pleasure of attending every year that I have served as Legislator, and it has been such a joy to see this event grow and get better year after year,” Deputy Minority Leader Drucker said. “As we wish everyone a wonderful, healthy and prosperous Year of the Dragon, I want to applaud the Chinese Association of Jericho for working so diligently to enrich the cultural tapestry of Nassau County and thank the Jericho School District for embracing the diversity that makes our community so special.”
