[ARCHIVED] Legislator Arnold W. Drucker Joins Colleagues at AJC Forum for Important Update

Drucker - AJC presentation

(MELVILLE, N.Y.) Nassau County Legislator Arnold W. Drucker (D – Plainview) joined with the American Jewish Committee (AJC) and his colleagues in government at Temple Beth Torah in Melville on Thursday, March 30 for an AJC presentation on the State of Antisemitism in America and the launch of Municipal Leaders Against Antisemitism.

Attendees also learned more about AJC’s “Translate Hate” initiative – which seeks to confront antisemitism by educating people about “antisemitic words, phrases, ideas, ideas and caricatures” so that they can be challenged for their inherent hatred and bigotry whenever and wherever they emerge.

“At a time when antisemitism and hatred in so many forms are on the rise, it is essential for all of us to become fully educated on the root causes of hatred and work together to eradicate this scourge from our society,” Legislator Drucker said. “I deeply appreciate AJC for providing us all with this important opportunity and thank them for their never-ending commitment to the fight against antisemitism in America.”
