[ARCHIVED] Mulé and Arnold Drucker Invite Residents to Learn How to Save a Life at In-Person Narcan Training

WHAT: Equip yourself with the knowledge that may one day empower you to save a person’s life. Nassau County Legislators Debra Mulé (D – Freeport) and Arnold W. Drucker (D – Plainview) and the Long Island Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence (LICADD) invite residents to attend an upcoming, in-person Narcan training on Thursday, April 14.

In addition to learning how to spot the signs of an opiate overdose, participants will also be shown how to administer intranasal Naloxone to reverse an overdose and learn about new approaches to treating addiction. Kits containing the overdose antidote will be provided to participants upon the completion of training.

Pre-registration is required, and the registration portal will close once maximum capacity is reached.
