(VALLEY STREAM, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Carrié Solages (D – Valley Stream) proudly participated in the Valley Stream Council of PTA’s legislative breakfast at Valley Stream High School on Saturday, March 1. During the panel discussion, Legislator Solages updated the community on his plans to address traffic safety concerns on County roads adjoining Valley Stream school buildings – especially relating to speeding concerns on Mill Road, Rockaway and Corona Avenues.
“This Legislative Breakfast provided Valley Stream residents with an ideal opportunity to make their voices heard and communicate directly with elected officials about their concerns and ideas for strengthening partnerships between schools and local government,” Legislator Solages said. “I was grateful to have the chance to participate, and I am very impressed with the quality of education that our children are receiving in Valley Stream and across Nassau County.”
