(ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y.) - Nassau County Legislator Scott M. Davis (D – Rockville Centre) proudly partnered with ProShred Security and the Rockville Centre Public Library to host his office’s second annual shredding event on Saturday, April 19.
During the event, dozens of residents took advantage of the opportunity to bring up to 10 black garbage bags or bankers’ boxes of unwanted papers and sensitive documents to the Library parking lot for secure, environmentally friendly disposal at no charge to them. In addition, Legislator Davis accepted donations of new and gently used clothing for babies in support of the BackYard Players & Friends’ “Love Nana” community service project.
“With Easter right on the horizon and spring cleaning on the minds of many, it was a perfect time to give our community a forum to both securely dispose of unwanted documents and do a good deed for deserving local youth,” Legislator Davis said. “Thank you to the Rockville Centre Public Library, our Village leaders and ProShred Security for partnering with us to make all of this possible.”
