(ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Scott M. Davis (D – Rockville Centre) heralded the arrival of the upcoming Rockville Centre St. Patrick’s Day at the annual Grand Marshal’s Dinner on Thursday, March 20. The event was the latest in a series of fundraising events leading up to the Saturday, March 22 parade, with proceeds benefiting SIBSPlace, Remember Nolan Project, and the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust.
During the celebration, Legislator Davis presented a New York State Proclamation to Grand Marshal Suzanne Murphy Sullivan on behalf of New York State Assemblymember Judy Griffin.
“For weeks, Irish eyes have been smiling across Rockville Centre – and you could really tell that is the case at the Grand Marshal’s dinner, where the anticipation for the big parade was truly palpable,” Legislator Davis said. “Congratulations to Grand Marshal Suzanne Murphy Sullivan for leading this wonderful community tradition into yet another year and raising funds for some truly worthwhile endeavors!”
