(ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y.) – With St. Patrick’s Day and the Village of Rockville Centre’s annual parade fast approaching, Nassau County Legislator Scott M. Davis (D – Rockville Centre) joined local leaders and his colleagues in government outside Village Hall on Friday, Feb. 28 for the Light Up RVC Green celebration.
Suzanne Murphy Sullivan has been named Grand Marshal of the 2025 parade, and proceeds from this year’s parade and related events will benefit SIBSPlace, Remember Nolan Project, and the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust.
“In Rockville Centre, celebrating our community’s Irish pride is a monthlong endeavor, and lighting our Village green has all of us ready for another amazing parade,” Legislator Davis said. “It was a pleasure to join with Mayor Murray, the Board of Trustees, Congresswoman Gillen, and members of the RVC St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee at this festive event, and we’re all looking forward to the celebrations later this month!”
