(ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Scott M. Davis (D – Rockville Centre) was thrilled to take part in the “Taste of RVC” at the St. Agnes Parish Center on Friday, Jan. 31 – an annual tradition leading up to the much-anticipated St. Patrick’s parade set for Saturday, March 22.
This year’s Taste of RVC featured live music by Jerry and the Newcomers and more than 20 local establishments from the village and neighboring communities, each serving their finest fare alongside wine tastings, microbrewery samples, and a dessert and coffee bar. Proceeds benefit SIBSPlace, Remember Nolan Project, and the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust. Suzanne Murphy Sullivan has been named Grand Marshal of the 2025 parade.
“The St. Patrick’s Day parade is a longstanding and cherished tradition that spotlights Rockville Centre’s abundant Irish American history and brings our community together in support of worthwhile local, national and Irish charitable causes,” Legislator Davis said. “The parade committee’s focus on philanthropy is a wonderful thing, and the success of the Taste of RVC event goes a long way toward propelling their efforts. I thank everyone who participated and congratulate our community on a job well done!”
