(HEMPSTEAD, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Scott M. Davis (D – Rockville Centre) commemorated National Voter Registration Day at Kennedy Memorial Park in Hempstead on Tuesday, Sept. 17. There, Legislator Davis joined with community organizations, including the Hempstead Branch of the NAACP and the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. to engage with residents. “As we approach the most consequential election of our lives, it is crucial for every eligible American citizen to have the opportunity to make their voices heard at the ballot box,” Legislator Davis said. “I applaud all of the community partners who stepped up to help Americans fulfill their civic duty, and I encourage everyone to get registered, make a plan, and vote this November.”
