Legislator Abrahams Hosts Tax Grievance Workshops
Nassau County Legislator Kevan Abrahams (D-LD1) is hosting four workshops on the process of property valuation and how to file an appeal of the assessed value of your property if you disagree with your most recent assessment. These workshops, entitled “How to file a Property Tax Grievance,” will offer you FREE assistance in preparing your own tax grievance application, and provide information on other property tax exemption programs. All materials are provided and applications are available. A Q&A period is also included. The deadline to file a grievance is Monday, Mar. 3, 2014.
