(ROOSEVELT, N.Y.) - Nassau County Legislators Debra Mulé (D – Freeport) and Scott M. Davis (D – Rockville Centre) commemorated Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day at the Memorial Presbyterian Church’s inaugural MLK Unity March and Cultural Celebration in Roosevelt on Monday, Jan. 16.
“By recognizing the importance of MLK's legacy, we honor his life’s work and recommit ourselves to the ongoing efforts that will make our society more just and inclusive,” Legislator Mulé said. “I have so much gratitude to Reverend Scott Williams and his wife, First Lady Donette, for inviting me to be a part of such a meaningful and profound event.”
