(ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Scott M. Davis (D – Rockville Centre) was thrilled to take part in the “Taste of RVC” at the St. Agnes Parish Center on Saturday, Jan. 26 – an annual tradition leading up to the much-anticipated St. Patrick’s parade in March.
This year’s Taste of RVC featured live music and more than 20 vendors serving their finest fare alongside wine tastings, microbrewery samples, and a dessert and coffee bar. Proceeds from the Taste of RVC benefit the 2024 parade’s featured charities – Beyond the Badge, the Limb Kind Foundation, and the Crocus Cancer Support Centre. Greg Schaefer, Chief Executive Officer and owner of Better Home Health Care Agency, Inc., has been named Grand Marshal of the 2024 parade.
“Rockville Centre’s St. Patrick’s Day parade is a cherished tradition that spotlights our Village’s rich Irish American history and brings our community together in support of worthwhile causes each year,” Legislator Davis said. “The parade committee’s tradition of philanthropy is truly admirable, and I am thrilled that the success of the Taste of RVC will go a long way toward supporting this year’s three deserving charities.”
