(UNIONDALE, N.Y.) - Nassau County Legislator Kevan Abrahams (D - Freeport) honored Virginia W. Harris during a private reception hosted by the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc.’s Long Island chapter at the Long Island Marriott, on Friday, June 7th. Mrs. Harris was elected President of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. on Sept. 23, 2017 and has been successfully serving at both the national and local chapter levels.
“Not only does this organization inspire and uplift women in minority communities, the National Coalition of 100 Black Women is a beacon for women across the nation,” said Legislator Abrahams. “I congratulate Mrs. Harris for her hard work and dedication to the National Coalition of 100 Black Women that ensures it remains a force for positive change.”
