(WANTAGH and ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Scott M. Davis congratulated Dr. Brian Zuar, Director of the Arts for Rockville Centre Schools, and Darren Raymar, Principal of Covert Elementary School, for being honored by the Rockville Centre Education Foundation’s at their 2024 gala at Jones Beach’s Gatsby on the Ocean on Monday, April 8. Legislator Davis presented the honorees with Nassau County Legislature Citations in recognition of this momentous occasion.
The mission of the Rockville Centre Education Foundation “is to enhance the quality of public education by securing and providing financial resources for school enrichment” with a focus on programs that foster innovation and reach beyond the normal scope of the curriculum.
“Organizations like the Rockville Centre Education Foundation do so much to enrich the educational opportunities that our children experience in our public schools,” Legislator Davis said. “It was a pleasure to be a part of this well-deserved recognition of their dedicated service to the students of Rockville Centre!”
