Legislator Kevan Abrahams Partners with Nassau County PD, LD 1 School Districts to Host Upcoming “School Safety Seminar” 
WHAT: Nassau County Legislator Kevan M. Abrahams (D - Freeport) is partnering with the Nassau County Police Department to host a “School Safety Seminar” with students from the Baldwin, Hempstead, Freeport, East Meadow, Roosevelt, and Uniondale Public School Districts on Thursday, May 26 at the David S. Mack Center for Training and Intelligence.
During the seminar, Police Commissioner Patrick Ryder and law enforcement personnel will lead students and parents in conversations regarding school safety, social media trends, and the police department’s efforts to combat the dangers of opioid drugs through the “Operation - Natalie” program. After the seminar, attendees will have the opportunity to tour the new police training academy.
