WHAT: Nassau County Legislator Scott M. Davis (D – Rockville Centre) is partnering with Long Island Shredding and Record Destruction to host a shredding and small electronics disposal event at Rockville Centre’s LIRR Parking Lot #2 on Saturday, April 13.
Participants are invited to bring up to two 10-by-12-inch boxes of documents to shred, as well as any small electronic devices, such as laptops, cell phones, monitors, etc. to be disposed of in a secure, environmentally friendly manner.
“During spring cleaning, many of us find documents and electronic devices that we need to dispose of securely because of the sensitive information they contain,” Legislator Davis said. “Our event is designed to meet that need in a way that both safeguards your privacy and protects the environment. We appreciate Long Island Shredding and Record Destruction’s partnership in providing this service to Rockville Centre.”
Contact Legislator Davis’ office at 516-571-6201 or sdavis@nassaucountyny.gov for additional information.
