WHAT - Nassau County Legislator Carrié Solages (D - Lawrence) is partnering with the Elmont Cultural Center to inform residents about the Biden administration’s expansion of a humanitarian parole program that offers migrants from Venezuela, Nicaragua, Cuba and Haiti a legal, orderly and humane pathway to come to America for two years after securing the backing of a United States-based sponsor with legal immigration status and undergoing background checks.
Legal professionals will discuss the humanitarian parole program as well as answer questions from the public. Residents who are seeking to pursue this opportunity or learn more about this process are encouraged to attend this question-and-answer seminar.
