(ELMONT, N.Y.) – March 17, 2024 marked three years since Elmont resident Nafiah Ikram was viciously attacked with acid outside her Elmont home by an unknown male assailant.
“During the last three years, Nafiah and her family have endured extraordinary struggles and uncertainty in the aftermath of this horrific assault,” Nassau County Legislator Carrié Solages (D – Valley Stream) said. “As we continue to pray for Nafiah and her family, the most important thing we can do is to bring her assailant to justice. I implore anyone who has been withholding information to come forward, do the right thing, and bring this ordeal to an end once and for all.”
