WHAT – Nassau County Legislator Carrié Solages (D – Lawrence) is partnering with the Exit 13 Grooming Lounge in Elmont to host the shop’s inaugural back-to-school supply giveaway on Sunday, Aug. 27, where youngsters will have an opportunity to pick up the essentials for a successful school year and enjoy food and drinks. Hosted and organized by Fenol C. LaRock, Christiano Marcello, Antonio Marcello, and Frantz Compere, the event is presented in partnership with the Green Acres Mall, Natalie Mitchell Real Estate, the Krystie Foundation, King Umberto Pizza, Lux Entertainments and Meera Empowerment.
“Back-to-school season brings with it a tremendous amount of anticipation and excitement for our community, and we want to make sure every student is ready to succeed in the upcoming academic year,” Legislator Solages said. “I am proud to work with Exit 13 Grooming Lounge to host this inaugural school supply event – one that I hope will become a tradition that benefits our young people for many years to come.”
