WHAT - To help young students begin the 2023-24 school year on the right foot, Nassau County Legislator Siela A. Bynoe (D - Westbury), in conjunction with key community partners, presents her annual “Road to Success” back-to-school event at the Tanglewood Preserve in Rockville Centre on Sunday, Aug. 20.
Legislator Bynoe is partnering with Bethpage Federal Credit Union; the Lakeview branch of the NAACP; West Hempstead-based Moms Who Care, Inc. and St. Paul’s African Methodist Episcopal Church of Lakeview to host the event, which will feature free school supplies (while supplies last), a bouncy house, and additional attractions for families.
The first 100 children in attendance will receive free entry into the dinosaur exhibit at the Center for Science, Teaching & Learning at the Tanglewood Preserve.
