LEGISLATOR KOPEL ATTENDS DEDICATION
OF JOHN J. CIOTTI MEETING ROOM
On Monday, December 10th, Deputy Presiding Officer Howard J. Kopel joined with the Majority Caucus of the Nassau County Legislature and the family of the late Legislator John J. Ciotti to dedicate the Majority Caucus’s Legislative Meeting Room as the John J. Ciotti Meeting Room.
Legislator John Ciotti was a charter member of the Nassau County Legislature representing the 3rd District, including parts of Valley Stream, Elmont, North Valley Stream, South Floral Park and Franklin Square. He served as the first Chairman of the Finance Committee and as Deputy Presiding Officer. Legislator Ciotti passed away in 2017.
