Deputy Presiding Officer Howard Kopel and Legislator Bill Gaylor recently joined with Rockville Centre Mayor Francis X. Murray to present members of the Rockville Centre Fire Department with Nassau County service bars for their courage and extraordinary dedication during the COVID-19 pandemic. The bars are part of an ongoing program by the Legislature to recognize and thank all those that gave so much in the last year to keep others safe and healthy.
“During the pandemic, our first responders continually put their lives on the line to help keep our residents safe,” Legislator Bill Gaylor said. “These brave men and women went out on every call, no matter the safety concerns. Thank you to all our first responders!”
