Deputy Presiding Officer Howard J. Kopel recently met with local village boards to discuss concerns, project updates and other issues happening in the community.
On September 9th, 2019, Deputy Presiding Officer Kopel met with Rockville Centre Mayor Francis X. Murray and the Rockville Centre Village Board to update them on current County projects in the village.
On September 12th, 2019, Deputy Presiding Officer Kopel met with the Hewlett Harbor Village Board of Trustees to discuss the recent flooding on several properties. As a result of the meeting, Nassau County Department of Public Works Commissioner Ken Arnold agreed to send a team to investigate the issue.
