LD04BIOGRAPHY:

Patrick Mullaney is a former US Marine Reservist and a 19-year veteran of the FDNY who is assigned to the Special Operations Command, Squad 288. Special Operations are those emergency incidents to which the FDNY responds that require specific and advanced training as well as specialized tools and equipment. These types of emergencies include Urban Search and Rescue, high angle rescues that are outside the reach of ladders using rope, building collapses, rescues in confined spaces (including subways), trench rescues, as well as hazardous materials, emergencies, disaster response, public education, fire prevention and firefighting. Mullaney is committed to holding the line on taxes, fighting to protect our residents, and working to keep our communities safe and healthy by ensuring clean drinking water and protecting our beaches and bay front. 

Mullaney pledges to invest in police, fire, and EMS services as well as secure funding for Veteran services, local roads and community improvements. He will continue Denise Ford's tradition of excellent constituent services. Mullaney, a long time Long Beach resident lives with his wife Barbara, a well-respected realtor and is a loving stepfather to her two daughters, Peggy and Katy.
