The Nassau County Department of Mental Health, Chemical Dependency, and Developmental Services partially funds the Epilepsy Foundation of Long Island to provide outpatient rehabilitative services. Clinical services are provided to assist individuals and caregivers to cope with developmental disabilities and epilepsy as well as to provide access to proper diagnosis and treatment. Services are provided that assist developmentally disabled individuals with epilepsy to sustain themselves in appropriate community settings. Services typically include, but are not limited to, information and referral, counseling, case management, education, and support groups.

The Nassau County Department of Mental Health, Chemical Dependency, and Developmental Services partially funds the United Cerebral Palsy Association of Nassau County (UCP) to provide outpatient rehabilitative and medical services.
The Treatment and Rehabilitation Center at UCP provides accessible, comprehensive, quality medical and clinical services that address the spectrum of issues intrinsic to living with a disability across the lifespan. Comprehensive, efficient, and necessary therapeutic treatment and healthcare services are provided during day and/or evening hours to developmentally disabled persons to improve and maximize their quality of life.
