Nassau County Legislator Tom McKevitt, in conjunction with the Nassau County Police Department and the Council of East Meadow Community Organizations (CEMCO), will be hosting a Public Safety Community Forum to provide residents with an overview of the Police Department and give them an opportunity to discuss and address any public safety concerns they may have.

Safely Dispose of Your Unused, Unwanted & Expired Medications
Items WILL only be accepted from 7:30pm to 9:00pm
The Nassau County Police Department will be holding a Drug Take-Back event during the Public Safety Forum to give people an opportunity to safely and anonymously dispose of unused, expired and/or unwanted medications. Please keep all medications in the original containers and block out name for anonymity. Illegal drugs may also be dropped off anonymously. Items not accepted include: needles, syringes, lancets, thermometers, IV bags and chemo drugs/liquids.
