Presiding Officer Norma L. Gonsalves recently attended Boy Scout Troop 362’s 50th Anniversary Ceremony held in the auditorium of St. Raphael’s Roman Catholic Church in East Meadow. Troop 362 was formed in 1966 by a group of parishioners from Saint Raphael’s. The Boy Scout Troop was chartered in March of 1967 to the Holy Name Society of St. Raphael’s Roman Catholic Church and since then have been serving our communities with leadership, compassion and dedication.
“I am proud to honor Troop 362 on their 50 years of service,” said Presiding Officer Gonsalves.
