Deputy Presiding Officer Howard J. Kopel is hosting a Property Tax Assessment Grievance Workshop for all homeowners who disagree with the assessed value of their home as indicated on the 2021-2022 Tentative Notice of Assessment. At the workshop, a representative from the Nassau County Assessment Review Commission (ARC) will answer questions and show residents how to use ARC’s online tools to file an “Application for Correction of Assessment” online or via mail. You do not have to pay a law firm or agency to file a grievance. You may dispute the assessed value of your home from January 2nd until April 2, 2020.
