Gonsalves joined Hempstead Town Supervisor Kate Murray, Councilman Gary Hudes, County Executive Ed Mangano and local community leaders to announce a joint partnership between the Town of Hempstead, Nassau County Crime Stoppers and the Nassau County Police Department in an increased effort to erase graffiti vandalism.
Nassau County Crime Stoppers is offering rewards of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction of a graffiti vandal. Neighbors can report graffiti vandals anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
