On January 6th, in a ceremony at the Theodore Roosevelt Executive & Legislative Building in Mineola, Howard J. Kopel was sworn into office as the Alternate Deputy Presiding Officer of the Tenth Term of the Nassau County Legislature by the Honorable Joseph N. Mondello, Chairman of the Nassau County Republican Committee.
At the organizational meeting of the Legislature, Legislator Kopel was appointed the Chair of the Government Services & Operations Committee, Chair of the Budget Review Committee, and a member of the Rules Committee.
Legislator Kopel is proud to represent the 7th Legislative District, which includes Baldwin, Cedarhurst, East Rockaway, Hewlett, Lawrence, Lynbrook, Mill Brook, Oceanside, Rockville Center, and Woodmere.
