Deputy Presiding Officer Howard Kopel and Legislator Bill Gaylor invite all homeowners to attend a property tax exemption workshop. Department of Assessment staff will be available to assist those who would like to file for a Veterans, Senior Citizen, Cold War Veterans, Volunteer Firefighters and Ambulance Workers, or Limited Income Disability exemption.
Homeowners filing for any exemptions should bring copies of required documentation. Documentation requirements can be viewed the Department of Assessment webpage:

Exemption applications for the 2024-25 property tax year must be received by January 2, 2024.
