Mineola, NY--- On April 9, Legislator John Ferretti welcomed the entire 5th grade of Abbey Lane Elementary School in Levittown to the Theodore Roosevelt Legislative Building for a tour highlighting the history of the building and a Q and A about local government. The group was also visited by Legislator Tom McKevitt, who represents part of Levittown, as well as County Executive Bruce Blakeman. Over 120 students from four different classes in the school attended.
“I am thrilled to have the 5th grade students from Abbey Lane School visit me at the Legislative offices,” Legislator John Ferretti said. “As a former student at Abbey Lane myself, I take much pride in showing them around the building, introducing them to the County Executive and answering their questions about my role as a legislator and government in general.”
