Nassau County Legislator James D. Kennedy enjoyed attending the Macaroni Kids Annual Egg Hunt at Marjorie Post Park. To ensure that all kids were able to participate, eggs were filled with toys or allergy friendly candy. There were carnival games, music and a visit from the Easter Bunny.
A raffle was held, and all proceeds were donated to the “Kids Need More” non-profit charitable organization which provides an opportunity for kids that have life-threatening illnesses a chance to attend “Camp Adventure”.
