WHAT: To ensure that children ride safely this fall and all year long, Nassau County Legislator Ellen W. Birnbaum (D - Great Neck) is partnering with the Nassau County Police Department and Nassau County’s Department of Traffic Safety to provide free Child Car Seat Safety Checks. During these inspections, certified technicians will apply their expertise toward ensuring that car seats are properly installed and providing optimal protection for the children riding in them.
