(GREAT NECK, N.Y.) - Nassau County Legislator Ellen W. Birnbaum (D - Great Neck) presented the volunteer members of the Great Neck Vigilant Fire Company with Nassau County COVID-19 service bars in recognition of their courageous and ongoing response to the pandemic. Legislator Birnbaum made the presentation during a regularly scheduled monthly meeting on Monday, June 7 at the firehouse, which is located at 83 Cutter Mill Road in Great Neck. In addition, Legislator Birnbaum presented Certificates of Recognition to the volunteers who accumulated the largest number of departmental “points” through call responses.
