(MANHASSET, N.Y.) - Nassau County Legislator Ellen W. Birnbaum (D - Great Neck) celebrated the topping-off of the Petrocelli Advanced Surgical Pavilion at Northwell Health's North Shore University Hospital on Thursday, May 20. Legislator Birnbaum signed the Pavilion project’s ceremonial beam and presented a Certificate of Appreciation to Jon Sendach, Executive Director of North Shore University Hospital, in recognition of the momentous occasion.
“The topping-off ceremony for this cutting-edge medical facility marks the culmination of a decade of planning and more than a year of work,” Legislator Birnbaum said. “It was a pleasure to witness this milestone moment for healthcare for our community and wish the leaders of North Shore University Hospital and Northwell Health all the best as they continue to expand and strengthen their network of care.”
