[ARCHIVED] LEGISLATOR WALKER ANNOUNCES CRP MONEY FOR HICKSVILLE GREGORY MUSEUM

FORD ANNOUNCES CRP MONEY

The Nassau County Legislature approved Legislator Rose Marie Walker’s requested Community Revitalization Project funding for an Inter-Municipal Agreement with the Town of Oyster Bay, to purchase, upgrade and install an HVAC system at the Hicksville Gregory Museum. Community Revitalization Project (CRP) funding is used to benefit local municipalities, fire departments, museums, and schools

“I am happy to help the Hicksville Gregory Museum upgrade their HVAC systems,” Legislator Walker said. “This new heating, ventilation and air-conditioning system will allow for more than just public use of the museum, but also will help in preserving the one-of-a-kind history the Gregory museum contains. Historic artifacts and documents need a climate-controlled environment to maintain integrity, and this CRP funding provides that.”
