WHAT: Nassau County Legislator Joshua Lafazan (Woodbury) is hosting a virtual mental health workshop to provide a forum for high school students to discuss stress, mental health and other pressing issues facing our community’s schools, with the goal of brainstorming solutions for enhancing academic spaces.
Legislator Lafazan is hosting the forum with Nassau County Laura Curran; New York State Senator James Gaughran (D - Northport); Syosset High School student community advocate Isabella Souza; and Dr. Jaclyn Shlisky of the Syosset-based Insight Psychology Group.
