(MINEOLA, N.Y.) For the third consecutive year, Nassau County Legislator Joshua A. Lafazan (Woodbury) will offer summer internships to high school and college students looking to learn about local government, public policy, and community engagement.
The internship program offers students the opportunity to gain real world experience and skills. Interns work closely with staff to plan events, research public policies, handle constituent concerns, and engage with other elected officials. Students who are interested in politics and public policy or looking to improve skills in research, event organizing, and communications are encouraged to apply.
Please note all internships are un-paid. All applications should be submitted no later than March 24.
