MINEOLA and GREAT NECK, N.Y. - Nassau County Legislator Ellen W. Birnbaum (D - Great Neck) was sworn in to serve her fourth two-year term representing the 10th Legislative District during the induction of the 13th Nassau County Legislature on Monday, Jan. 13.
A Great Neck resident for the last 40 years, Legislator Birnbaum, pictured above with, from left, New York State Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli and Nassau Legislature Minority Leader Kevan M. Abrahams (D - Freeport), represents the Great Neck peninsula, Manhasset Hills, the Village of North Hills, and parts of Albertson, Garden City Park, Herricks, Manhasset, North New Hyde Park, Searingtown, and Albertson.
Comptroller DiNapoli administered the oath of office to Legislator Birnbaum and her colleagues in the Minority Legislative Caucus.
“I am truly grateful to the residents of the 10th Legislative District for once again granting me the privilege of representing them in the Nassau County Legislature for the next two years,” Legislator Birnbaum said. “I remain dedicated to serving my constituents and passionate about bettering Nassau County for all our residents.”
