RICH NICOLELLO SWORN IN FOR NEW
TERM AS NASSAU COUNTY LEGISLATOR
On Monday, January 13th, Presiding Officer Rich Nicolello was sworn in for a new term in the Nassau County Legislature for the 13th Legislative Session. Nassau County Clerk Maureen O’Connell swore the Majority Caucus of the Legislature in at an induction ceremony. At the reorganization meeting after the induction ceremony, Nicolello was elected once again the Presiding Officer.
Presiding Officer Nicolello offered the following upon his induction:
“I was honored to be sworn in by County Clerk Maureen O’Connell for my second term as Presiding Officer of the Nassau County Legislature. Since my election to this legislature, I have fought for the taxpayers of my district and all of Nassau County. I look forward to continuing to fight to make the County Executive’s reassessment more fair and transparent, give our law enforcement the resources they need to keep us safe, make Nassau county more affordable, preserve our quality of life and more for the residents of this county. It is an honor to serve.”
