Did you know that 3 out of 4 child car seats are installed incorrectly? We must do all we can to protect our children when on the road. The proper installation of a child’s car seat is critical to ensuring safety in a vehicle. Nassau County Legislators Scott Strauss and Samantha Goetz, in partnership with County Executive Bruce Blakeman, the EAC Network and the Nassau County Police Department, invite all parents, grandparents and caregivers to have their child car seats inspected for proper installation.
Take this free opportunity to let a professional make sure your child seat is safely installed in your vehicle. To ensure proper inspection and installation, seats and surrounding area should be wiped down and cleared of any loose items before you arrive.
