Mineola, NY – Nassau County Department of Health has closed Piping Rock Beach in Locust Valley and Morgan Beach in Glen Cove to bathing due to elevated bacterial levels, effective today, July 31, 2019. These beaches will remain closed until testing indicates that samples are within acceptable limits. In addition, Biltmore Beach in Massapequa remains closed until further notice due to elevated bacterial levels.
