(NEW HYDE PARK, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Ellen W. Birnbaum (D – Great Neck) presented Herricks High School graduating senior Patricia A. Limperopoulos with the Nassau County Legislative Student Citizenship Award during the high school’s Senior Awards ceremony on June 8th.
Limperopoulos is a talented multi-sport athlete who volunteered to teach children at basketball camps and participated in numerous fundraising walks for the benefit of ALS, breast cancer and non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma charities. She also interned at the Nassau County District Attorney’s office and has been active in her church through the youth choir and Greek Orthodox Youth of America (GOYA).
“Through her athletic, musical and church-related endeavors, Patricia has made a profoundly positive impact on the lives of countless children in and around the Herricks School District community,” Legislator Birnbaum said. “It was my pleasure to present Patricia the Legislative Student Citizenship Award and join Herricks High School in celebrating the achievements of their 2018 senior class.”
