Nassau County Legislator Rich Nicolello would like to share the most recently updated Long Island Rail Road Summer Repair Schedule with residents from the 9th Legislative District that use the LIRR branches listed below to go to and from work to help ease their daily commute as track work continues at Penn Station throughout the summer months.
RONKONKOMA BRANCH - MORNING RUSH CHANGES
· An extra early-morning train will be provided, departing Farmingdale at 4:53 AM and arriving at Penn Station at 6:00 AM.
· The 6:54 AM express from Central Islip, normally due into Penn Station at 8:06 AM, will end its run at Jamaica at 7:44 AM, where customers can catch Penn-bound trains departing at 7:53 AM and 8:01 AM.

· Train #2301: The 6:00AM train from Farmingdale due Penn at 6:50AM will have 2 extra cars
RONKONKOMA BRANCH - EVENING RUSH CHANGES

· Train #2354: The 4:54PM train from Penn due Farmingdale at 5:56PM will have 2 extra cars
PORT WASHINGTON BRANCH - MORNING RUSH CHANGES
· An extra early-morning train will depart Port Washington at 5:22 AM and arrive at Penn Station at 6:03 AM.
· 8:04 AM express from Great Neck, due at Penn Station at 8:38 AM, will not operate. As an alternative, customers may take the 8:24 AM from Great Neck, which will make added stops at Little Neck, Douglaston and Woodside, arriving Penn at 8:59 AM.

· Train #409: The 5:36AM train from Port Washington due Penn at 6:21AM will have 2 extra cars
· Train #305: The 7:55AM train from Little Neck due Penn at 8:26AM will have 2 extra cars
· Train #309: The 8:24AM train from Great Neck due Penn at 8:59AM will have 2 extra cars
· Train #429: The 8:45AM train from Port Washington due Penn at 9:20AM will have 2 extra cars
· Train #313: The 8:58AM train from Great Neck due Pennat 9:34AM will have 2 extra cars
PORT WASHINGTON BRANCH - EVENING RUSH CHANGES
· Extra Off-Peak train departing Penn Station at 3:40 PM, stopping at Woodside, then all stops to Great Neck, arriving at 4:15 PM.
· 4:46 PM train from Penn, due at Great Neck at 5:23 PM, will instead originate at Hunterspoint Avenue at 4:49 PM.
· 5:14 PM train from Penn, due at Great Neck at 5:45 PM, will instead originate at Hunterspoint Avenue at 5:17 PM.
· 5:26 PM train from Penn, due at Port Washington at 6:04 PM, is cancelled. Customers can take the 5:29 PM train stopping at Manhasset, Plandome, Great Neck and Port Washington.
· 5:50 PM train from Penn, due at Great Neck at 6:19 PM, is cancelled. Customers can take the 5:56 PM train, making the stops of the cancelled train.
· 6:42 PM train from Penn, due at Great Neck at 7:17 PM, will instead originate at Hunterspoint Avenue at 6:45 PM.
