(WESTBURY, NY) – Nassau County Legislator Siela Bynoe (D-Westbury) is proud to bring the NUMC Mammography Van to Westbury on Wednesday August 27, 2014 from 8:45 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Magnolia Gardens, 899 Broadway, Westbury, NY 11590.
This special program is courtesy of Nassau University Medical Center. The Van is available to residents 40 or over, and due for an annual mammogram. Appointments are required and priority will be given to uninsured women over 50.
Please call Legislator Bynoe’s office at 516-571-6202 to schedule an appointment and find out what materials to bring.
Legislator Bynoe says, “I just want to make sure that one’s personal finances do not prevent them from being able to access women’s healthcare screenings. Early detection is the best prevention and these screenings will allow those who wouldn’t normally have the opportunity to afford a mammogram, the access they deserve.”
So contact the office of Legislator Bynoe, District 2 at 516-571-6202 and make an appointment today. As Siela says, “Early detection is the best prevention!”
